Vertical Tanning

Why we use this system

• It's hygienic.  In a tanning bed club members have to lie on an acrylic sheet.  It's the same sheet that was perspired on by others.  You can only hope that it's been cleaned recently.  In out upright tanning units, this problem does not exist.

• It's fast.  Vertical booths only require an 8 to 10 minute session.  Bed sessions take much longer to achieve the same result.

• It's comfortable.  Our unit is air-cooled by a unique fan system.  Air moves throughout the unit to create the 'perfect' tanning climate.  It's like being on a tropical island!

     All members are required to wear protective glasses when tanning.  These glasses protect your eyes from the UV rays which can be harmful to them.  We also recommend that you apply a moisturizing lotion while tanning.  These lotions expedite and enhance your tan.  Glasses and tanning lotions are available for purchase at the club.

The lamps are arranged in a hexagon because this has proven to be the most effective layout for producing an overall, even tan.  This system uses forty-six 200 watt ultraviolet lamps.  The lamps are designed to tan your body evenly, sending just the right amount of UV light to each area - the face, torso, and leg area.
